Our Firm
Apex Capital Wealth Management & Apex Tax Advisors is dedicated to keeping up with any changes in the law that will affect our client’s taxes and investments. Our firm attends numerous continuing education seminars throughout the year. Both Bill and John are active members in the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) as well as the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Both Bill and John are CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioners and have attained the ENROLLED AGENT designation issued by the Internal Revenue Service.
William D. Madara & John A. Miller, Jr.
Bill & John began their financial services careers in 1993 where they worked for an investment and insurance company affiliated with one of the worlds largest financial institutions at the time. They realized that most investment professionals were not allowed to offer their clients tax advice and felt that this was detrimental to the clients and their families. In 2001, they began working for a new firm which allowed them to provide tax services along with investment advice. In 2004, they decided to start their own firm, Apex Tax Advisors, LLC. In 2016, they established Apex Capital Wealth Management, a Member of Advisory Services Network, LLC. By separating their tax and advisory businesses, Bill and John were able to further integrate tax planning with investment advice that is tailored to fit each individual client's needs for now and the future.

Bill has lived his entire life in South Jersey outside of college. He attended Cherry Hill High School West and the University of Maryland at College Park. Bill currently resides in Moorestown with his wife Susan and son Matthew. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and golf.

Nick has lived his entire life in South Jersey. He attended Rutgers University and has been helping individuals and families with tax planning & preparation since 2017. Nick is known for his approachable style and enjoys building lasting relationships with clients while helping them work toward their financial goals.
Nick currently resides in Oaklyn with his wife Brittany and daughter Jocelyn. He is currently working towards his next Financial Planning professional certification. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking advantage of all South Jersey has to offer.

Donna grew up in Bellmawr, New Jersey, and has lived in South Jersey her entire life. She attended Gloucester Catholic High School and Rowan College at Burlington County. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends, as well as with her two pups, Ember and Roxy.
Stephen Tatz

Steve has worked with clients since 2002, prior to joining Apex. He values the lasting relationships he has developed and is known for a distinctive, personable approach that resonates with his clients. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia. In addition, Steve has hosted a weekly radio program on Cruisin’ 92.1 WVLT in Vineland for the past 21 years and has worked in broadcasting since 1981. Joining Apex provides Steve with the opportunity to collaborate with an exceptional team, maintain longstanding relationships, and build new ones.
